Top 5 College Football Teams to watch in 2006
Here are five teams who struggled last year, but should be bowl contenders this year.

University of Washington – A football program that has dwindled in the past few years is showing some rebound. In the 90’s UW was a BCS team. While they may not reach that level soon, they will still put up an impressive year, compared to the 2-9 2005 season performance. Coach Tyrone Willingham is repairing damage done by previous coaches.

Arkansas – Good Coach, Good Running Back. The Razorbacks will do better than the 4 win-7 loss record they had last year. Beating Alabama definitely helps this years cause. They will be led by Quarterback and top freshman recruit Mitch Mustain.

Michigan State – Despite letting Notre Dame come back from way behind in the 4th quarter, Michigan State still has a respectable team. They will defiantly put up a better record than last years 5-6. Drew Stanton should lead them to a bowl appearance.

Arizona State – Arizona State has one of the fastest striking offenses in college football. Their fate rests on their defense. If they can hold up, look for a good year with a bowl appearance.

Pittsburg – Last year Pittsburg was a sub-500 team. Give Coach Dave Wannstedt some time, and he’ll have this team to a bowl game.
